1) Bangkok- As it was our second time in Bangkok, we took less pictures and visited less sites, as we've done most of them last year. This year, the highlight of Bangkok was going to the WattArun temple, which is by the river. At night, we visited the Lebua at State Tower, which has the fancy roof top, with 360 panoramic view of the city, and the Hangover 2 movie was filmed there.
2) Chiang Mai- It was always on our bucket list since we left the South Thailand last year. Chiang Mai is in the North side of Thailand. It is less tourisity, and more cultural and authentic than the south Thailand. The highlight of this city was, except of the stunning temples and national parks, doing the Jungle Elephant Senctuary. Swimming and bathing the elephants was an unforgettable experience!
3) Pai- The most relaxing and untouched town we have ever seen! Once you get there, you truly don't want to leave! It has a home feeling. This town is sorrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers. It has more than 200 different shops of coffees. They all built in very unique and inviting way. Delicious restaurant. Everything is within walking distance!
4) Chiang Rai- It's an artistic city. The city is large and designed in a very unique way. The highlight of the city was the Wat Rong Khun Temple. It's the most beautiful temple we have ever seen. It's all white, every single detail of the temple is different. The look of it blows you away. We also checked out gorgeous waterfalls, as well as the Baan Dam temple (black temple), and the Singha massive statue.
